I found that it was harder to train my Yorkie to use a pad at my in-laws home, but she just started being consistent the last two visits. Until then she would go sometimes on her pad, but she would also go right beside her pad or use the door mat. I'm lucky enough to mahe a mom-in-law like Mari's mom, she didn't seem to mind, (she calls our dogs her grandpuppies
) but my father-in-law was not pleased to say the least. It took a good 10-15 visits to get her trained at their house, so don't give up hope.
