My yorkies just ABSOLUTELY HATE it when I clip their nails... I waited, waited, and now it's absolutely imperative that I start. I keep saying "it's okay" in a very soothing voice but they get jumpy. My girl's nail was JUST TOO LONG!!! In fact, I got SEVERAL lines marked on my thigh from her nails earlier trying to clip her nails. Any advice? I don't know if everyone bring their pups to professional grooming, but I prefer to do it myself since grooming costs are too expensive.
