Kongs are rubber and I'm sure would be great frozen with a goodie inside, for a teething puppy. I think you can buy them at just about any pet shop. My feed and grain store even carries them.
Zoey has just turned 2 years old. The best thing I've found for her is the Merrick "Doggie Wishbones". They're kind of a smoked beef achilles tendon. ($2.99 ea.) They don't stink, and they last a long time. (Smell sorta like a smokey Bar-b-que.) She has been unable to get any pieces off, no matter how hard she tries...

They sort of shred and end up looking a lot like a gazillion bits of dental floss, lol. Gross looking, but I couldn't care less, as long as she's in love.
She'll chew on one for about 2 weeks, then loses interest when that smokey flavor disappears.
She liked the Himalayan chew for a while then lost interest. I got her an antler...she'll give it a go once and a while.
Still looking for the perfect chew....
