Brushing regularly, 2-3 times a week, has helped Eddie. He doesn't always allow me to do a good job, but just getting the toothpaste in his mouth seems to help. He loves Petrodex poultry flavor toothpaste, btw.
I'll bet you're going to see an improvement once you switch to Chicken Soup. If you don't, run it past the vet.
