So sad =[ Thats exactly how i picture the pets who are turned over to the Humane Societies and other shelters. I understand there are legitimate reasons for no longer being able to keep a pet, but my heart just breaks for them..They don't know where they're going, where their family members are going when they leave them there, they don't understand why they've been brought to this place, and they wonder why and if their humans will ever come back for them. It's so sad ='[ It just breaks my heart. I agree with the author, people need to educate themselves and not think of their pets as disposable..and spaying and neutering is a BIG factor is helping to prevent the killing of dogs and cats for no other reason than they cannot find them a home.
