 Dew Claws
Hey everyone,
I wanted to know if anyone knew if dew claws can grow back? The breeder told us that the puppies had their dew claws removed when their tails were docked. We just got our little guy about 3 weeks ago; he's six month old; and we noticed a dew claw today! We haven't noticed it until today but aren't sure if it was just an oversight or if it actually wasn't there. It's kind of hard to believe that we'd miss it because we are always brushing him and playing with his paws. Anyways, I just wanted to see some opinions before I call to have "a word" with the breeder.
