not sure if this is a cure but I put an extra pad down when we got Maggie. They didn't have any issues, but they just seemed to sniff the others business so I thought it might be best.
I would let them get used to each other for a couple of days...let them try and work it out on their terms. Teddy will have to learn where his boundaries are. Also, I am sure that you probably know, make sure you do things first with Maximo. Make sure you greet him first, feed first, treat first. This will make him secure in that he is still the alpha and still the big boy. lol I am sure within no time, they will be best buds. congratulatons on your new baby!
