Hi yep..Dustie does just the same...comes over to me..I go to pick up..he backs off or runs away....even worse if I want to take something from his mouth..I have to try to get him a room where I can corner him..and then do a "Trade" for a small treat... But they are naughty sometimes aren't they..and Dustie doesn't like being picked up or carried really...He fights to get out of my arms...little terror..!!!
With my other Yorkies I had 2 that used to always come in an instant when called..but 2 that never did...so they are all different..
I think you have to find a word to associate with coming to you...and then give a treat and be consistant and see how it goes..!!
