My vet told me the exact opposite (Quicker healing time with the laser procedure).. so I will be watching this thread as I am getting my boy Jimi neutered in a few weeks and I am debating about which method to go with.

By the way, Bo has the best softee collars. They are so much better than the tradition e-collars because they are soft and not as awkward.
