I was looking on the Natural Balance Vegetarian bag and it has the same amount of Protein as the Duck and Potato formula that my maltese eats, but it is obviously protein from vegetables. So my question is, are struvite stones caused by animal or ANY protein??? Is there maybe too much proteing in the NB Vegetarian even though it is vegetable??? i am so confused and nervous. TIA!
i still think you need to have ultrasound and xray since this baby has had stones before. The vegetarian is an easily digestible protein and why it is recommended for liver disease dogs along with fish protein so you are ok it is not the food i think she may have some stones though so you need to rule this out
