That happened the first couple of days after we'd gotten Hot Rod. I was shocked. I gone for like 2 hours with my girlfrienda and came home to the most excited happy little puppy you ever saw, lol! He was just wagging his tail and wanting to give kisses.
We were waiting for our expen as we ordered it the very week Hot Rod came home. Once we got that, I didn't worry about him escaping. His crate, pad, food and water was in there with him. This also gave him room to stretch and it gave me piece of mind that the was safe.
others have said that their little boogers have climbed out. The also have a 36" one. Fortunately, we've never had any problems with Hot Rod climbing up it, nor Maggie May. Good luck.
