What brush are you using? Maybe that is the problem. I used to think a brush was a brush was a brush. I was using a comb to get the tiny mats out, but also using it all over. It was doing more harm than good, causing me the break the hairs off with the comb. I have since been using a Madan brush from mimimomo and it is THE BEST! Hardly any hair breaks off and it's really soft and gentle on the hair. Uni thinks she is getting the spa treatment when I brush her!
