I crate my guy at night. It is really helpful. He holds his potty and does his business first thing in the morning. He did bark out one night and I took him to his wee wee pad, and he did his business, then I put him back in the crate to sleep. He still sleeps right next to me, just in a crate.
I hope this is helpful. I am not sure how to train them to bark when on the bed. There is a no puppy in bed rule here. He has his own bed that he uses throughout the day. But we were concerned with his bones that he would jump off our bed and break his legs. We have a super high mattress, even I have to jump to get in bed. |
