Oh, I'm so glad that Belle is not the only dog that destroys toys When we first got her she had a whole toybox of toys, now she's down to about 4. She ate all the stuffed ones, shredded the ones with strings, stripped all the fuzz off the tennis balls, ate the ears and feet off the vinyl ones and in her spare time she ate my couch pillows and a couple of rugs. I keep buying toys that are guarenteed to last, but apparently they don't know about Belle I finally started making toys for her out of things around the house. Her very favorite is her empty Welch's grape juice can with a tennis ball in it. The ball won't come out so she can't chew it up. She puts it on the floor and runs at it and shoves her nose inside and picks it up and throws it in the air. I can't believe how high she can throw that thing. Our Lab runs for cover when she plays with that as he's been gonked on the head several times. She does this for hours. Her other favorite is an empty plastic water bottle, I put her dry kibble in it and put the cap on really tight. She loves it, not really good if you are trying to talk on the phone or hear TV but they love the rattle. I have to keep my kitchen cabinet closed tight that my tupperware is in as she raids that all the time. I couldn't find her one day and was really worried, I kept calling her but she didn't come or bark. I went into the kitchen and the cabinet door was open a little ways, I saw her peeking out from inside, she must have thought she found heaven!
