Cupid continues to do well..still coughing but the vets are saying it could take 4-6 months for his lungs to fully clear...of course he will be home before then.
They reduced the amount of oxygen again...so he is almost breathing on his own....if this keeps up he will be home soon....of course he will still need to recover...but it will be nice to get him to my house.
I am so sorry to hear about Izzie..I also lost a pup to a heart problem that was due in part to CT. Please consult with your vet about other medications or go for a second opinion...my Peppy also responded well to medications. Once in awhile he also needed a heavier medication to sleep when his "coughing" was very bad but it helped dramatically.
