I'll have to ask about the home visit. They didn't mention it, so not sure if they do it. Addie was here for three months before we brought Mia home. They had some disagreements, but ended up working it out. Now they don't like it if I have to separate them for any reason (like bath time). Addie is the boss here too-lol, so I'm pretty sure she'll try to keep the throne if we do take Amanda home.
I also figure that if we do adopt her, she'll have a small area to herself while we're gone. Especially given that she has no housetraining at all. In fact, when we were there last night, she peed on one of the rugs.
They also have a time period where you can return an adopted dog if it doesn't work out. Worse case scenario for us, so if I'm not sure we should adopt her, we won't.
