In another thread regarding Yorkies vs. Silkies, Carmen in NJ has a link to her webside Stone Hill Silky Terriors. (BTW Carmen, loved your website!! I have a Yorkie but there is SO much information on your website that we can all use!!)

Under the holistic pet tab, there is information regarding using coconut oil that states: Do your dog’s paws smell like corn chips or are their ears inflamed and always dirty? Fido may be experiencing a common digestive system yeast infection (also called Candida). I believe this is an except from Whole Dog Journal.

I have seen a thread on here before about our babies having "frito" feet. My Maddie's feet definately smell like fritos within a couple days of her bath. Has anyone here used coconut oil? What have your results been?

There is also information on "fragaria vesca" for placque on teeth. Any users?
