Since Bilbo is my first Yorkie, I don't know what is normal, but the amount of coat he has is about the same as it's always been. He hasn't been acting any different than normal (other than maybe some cabin fever) and the only difference I can tell in his health is that he seems to be scratching more than he usually does, although not excessively, and I assumed that was because of the drier winter weather. He doesn't have any rashes, hives, skin discoloration, or anything of that sort.

He's eleven months old, and his hair is really slow growing. I was feeding him Merrick's Puppy Plate, but the store was out and I had to buy Iam's, and I'm thinking that might be part of the problem.
