A Silky isn't hyper but they do have tons of energy and love to play fetch, go for long walks and in general, be involved in whatever the family is doing! They are loving but independent in nature. That is Jackson to a tee.
The above quote is so our Lexie too - my two previous Yorkies didn't care so much about chasing balls or taking walks. With our bad winter this year, Lexie has not gotten to chase her beloved ball very much outside, so we kind of make do in the house, but it's not the same. She is so independent too, but wants my attention constantly - on her terms like a cat!
