ok then you need to get him on ultra z/d or purina ha or purina EN I just do not want this to progress to pancreatitis and sounds like this is happening alot and vomitting up stuff can mess up the esophagus with stomach acids so he may need some sulcrulfate which is pepto without the aspirin. Call vet today and discuss this as i do not think this is stress colitis as he would have diarrhea as that starts as diarrhea then progresses to vomitting. Can you call rescue to see what they were feeding and if this was going on with them too?
pepcid ac, sulcrulfate, tylan powder are things used with ibd but ultimately it is getting the right diet. This should not be happening with each meal
