Each dog is unique and special in it's own way, when I encourage people to support good breeders, it's never because I think only purebred champions are loveable, it's because some breeders are breeding for the betterment of the breed and others are breeding for income. Unfortunately, no good breeders sell their dogs in pet stores, so I also encourage people not to buy from pet stores and also encourage local pet stores not to sell puppies. I hope you can buy your pet supplies from pet stores that do not sell puppies, these are just outlets for puppy mills. Whenever you buy a dog, you are approving of the what the breeder has chosen to do. |
