Well, if you're leaving for 3 weeks, daycare or boarding may not be an option. Definitely stay away from craigslist, though. I'm sure there are legit people on the site, but you never know if you'll ever see your dog again. Many are scammers, you can't trust anyone these days. I've heard some terrible stories! Yikes!
I usually always take our girls with me when I travel, but in cases when I couldn't, I also had a friend come by and take care of them for us. And someone had suggested talking to your breeder for advice, that's a wonderful option I think. Maybe they will just offer to babysit! Who knows, it's definitely worth a shot. And if I lived closeby, I'd watch your baby for you.
