I would have gone off !!
there is no reason to give another persons dog a treat without asking. I carry hard bones around in my coat pockets and purse and when i see a friendly dog i ask if i can pet it and give it a treat most of the time i get sure but sometimes i get answers like "make him sit first" or "no he snaps around food"
it is just plain rude to give another persons dog a treat with out asking
Gatsby dose not eat treats he hates them the only thing he will eat is snausages and i only give them to him once in a blue moon we use kibble for training
