In the NJ/NYC area, it's anywhere between $400-$650 when I asked around for Duke, we found a low cost clinic that did the surgery and microchip for $100. We didn't have any baby teeth pulled but they required a pre-op visit which was important. When we went, there were a lot of people there and it was extrememly organized. Everything went well and they were hellpful with all my post-op questions.
I would say look around if you do not want to spend what was told to you, but more importantly, I'm sure you rather spend a bit more at a place that you're comfortable with especially when it comes to our little ones.
