I agree with Micah My Love. My brother in law has an old golden retriever. When he was 9, they thought he was gonna pass any day. He could barely stand up. They were advised to go and get a puppy to cheer him up and they adopted a little mutt.. He is a mean old thing that bit me the first day I met him but he sure did love Zeus. They would run and play.. Today Zeus is 11 yrs old and once again coming close to death but he has really enjoyed to 2 extra years that mean old Murphy gave him..
