My Yorkie passed a month ago, and I have another dog that is not very well. Both are/were very old. I want to adopt another. Should I go ahead and adopt, or wait? I am sure the survivor is lonely, but, I don't want to adopt a dog who would also be left alone soon enough. Hate to sound so blunt, but I don't think she has long left.
