Y'all seem to have some experience with CT........she is my 4th Yorkie and I haven't had any previous problems. I had her brother (3.5 lbs) and he died last year of congenial heart disease but her heart and lungs are fine. I am devastated. She is on antibiotics, cough suppressant and Temeril-P. My vet said there was another med for this but it only comes in 100mg and he could not calculate the dosage for a dog her size. Any advice is appreciated. |
please join this group and there are compounding pharmacies to dose down the other drug for her and they ship i am sure if none locally
CollapsingTrachea : YTNR_COLLAPSING TRACHEA
don't give up yet and i believe they posted the drug below - i am not that familiar with it just have a friend with a dog that has it

so hopefully others can help and that group is a good one for help but i would not do the surgery though
was there anything that triggered it like anesthesia or anything ?
