Cry CT

Hi everyone. I am new to the site and in desperate need of some reassurance. My 10 year old Yorkie, Izzie, was diagnosed yesterday with a collasped trachea. My Izzie only weighs 1lb. 14 oz. Obviously surgery is not an option. She is not responding well to the meds and I know I have to put her down. Y'all seem to have some experience with CT........she is my 4th Yorkie and I haven't had any previous problems. I had her brother (3.5 lbs) and he died last year of congenial heart disease but her heart and lungs are fine. I am devastated. She is on antibiotics, cough suppressant and Temeril-P. My vet said there was another med for this but it only comes in 100mg and he could not calculate the dosage for a dog her size. Any advice is appreciated.
