I want to thank you all again for the kind words. My mother's funeral went well yesterday and we went by and picked up Leilani later last evening.
Copper and Leilani have spent the morning getting to know each other. I have taken a few pictures, but I really don't have time right now to post them and delete some of the others to make room. These little warm bodies are such a comfort to me. Leilani is napping in a little bed next to my computer and Copper is in my lap as I am typing this. They wore themselves out playing this morning and it is time for a rest.
Leilani only whimpered once to go out about 12:00. We had gone to bed fairly early because of the exhausting day. Then they were both up about 6:00 and ready to play. I am about ready for a nap as well.
