Ours is set at 64 during the Winter. We get southern exposure and our house heats up quite nicely when the sun is shining . . .the den's temp on the thermostat (where the dogs are usually basking in the sun) even though it is set for 64 it has read 78 - 80 because of the warmth of the sun . . .
On cloudy days they do get bundled up in their beds and usually sleep together. Night time they sleep with us, so they are always warm . . .
