--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have returned for the Vet, Our 3 year old yorkie started having problems with her hair after we sprayed her with flea and tick spray(don't want to say the name). She broke out in whelps, after a visit with our Vet, we shaved the areas and put antibiotic ointment on. She got alittle better but never cleared up. Now her back is red, with bumps that look like pimples, and her hair is coming out. Our Vet advised us to use fish oil on her food. If not better we would try something else.
We have adopted a 5 year old from a rescue, who had spent her entire life in a cage having one littler after another. We noticed a week ago a red bump on her lip. Our vet gave her a shot of antibiotic, and we are to give her liquid antibiotics twice a day, if it's not better he will remove it. Just wanted to share these stories, and ask for advise.
If this was an OTC flea and tick spray, my guess is that it is the problem. Probably a reaction to it. It sounds to me like a chemical reaction.....IF these products are ingested (licked off by a pup) there can be even more severe consequences. Some of these products are very dangerous!! There is a lot of informationa about them on the interenet. You say you don't want to name the product, but personally I think you should because someone might know something about it!

I would suggest you take her to a dermatologist! This could be a chemical reaction and they can last for some time.
