They are also now concerned about liver issues as some of his numbers are off on his blood work, but before we can look into that we need his lungs cleared and him breathing on his own.
Looking at his x-rays it looks like his trachea problem is further down the trachea..meaning they don't feel there was any damage to his by use of a collar or something like that. The top part of his trachea looked good..then as soon as you are out of the neck the size of it get 1/4 smaller...do not know the cause...they feel there might be a mass pushing up on the trachea or it is just all the fluid in the lungs...they cannot see everything because of all the fluid...they are going to ultra-sound at some point.
He has not been neutered so I don't feel there has been any damage from being intubated...but because of the small size of the trachea it is causing him a harder time to have a productive cough which is what he needs...

hopefully the pneumonia clearing this will all go away so will be praying for that
what were numbers on alt and you are right one thing at a time you need to address most critical first which is pneumonia
