I still love him, but would really appreciate your insight, as I believe the pet shop should not charge more than they should and I will submit a complain. Later I learned a friend of mine got a female yorkie from a local breeder for the same price and akc registered... ouch. Thank you so much!

Maybe the breeder was on AKC suspension.
AKC doesnt register mixes.
I personally think $800 is too much for a mix
