with your little one. Like I tell my husband, "I know my kids and I know when something is wrong." My boy Nicky keeps away from us when he's sick. He hides under the table, chairs, under the bed. He looks sad and the things that usually motivate him, suddenly don't anymore.
My little girl is different, she looks for me and lies down by my feet, keeps following me and keeps lying down by my feet. That's when I know SHE is sick. I think she learned that when she was a baby and got sick. The vet said it was just a tummy ache, but seeing her in pain drove me nuts, so I would rub her belly and I would pray and pray.
I don't know if it was the praying or the rubbing or maybe it was just knowing that mommy was there comforting, but it would work sometimes. Now she comes to mommy to make it better.
I don't like waiting, things can go from bad to worse so fast with these little angels, I call their vet asap if praying doesn't seem to be doing it right away.
