My husband's family has a reunion in Tahlequah every summer and this year the place they have rented for the weekend-long event does not allow pets. I have never boarded a pet before so I don't really even know what to be looking for or what questions I should ask, etc. This thing isn't even until June and I'm already worrying!!

An internet search turned up this place, K-9 Acres Pet Resort (http://www.k9acrespetresort.com/1901.html). They seem legit and on the up-and-up, but as I don't really know what to watch for, I'd love to hear your opinions. My husband and I will be staying locally, so at least we will be close if anything were to happen and she'd only be staying for one night...we just can't bear to leave her for longer than that!!

If you've got any advice, I'm all ears!!
