You could say I am addicted, I grew up with all kinds of animals and I have had every breed from a German Shepard to a St. Bernard and everything in between! At one time I had 2 Female Rottweilers they were sisters. My Father used to breed Red Dobermans and Fighting Cocks (Roosters). My most vicious dog was a black Female Lab. I even bred pitbulls at one time. After some break-ups and the heartbreak of the Loss (the dogs not the men). I swore off all dogs and just had exotic Reptiles; Iguana, Monitor Lizard and Boas. Until last May 2004. I was walking to the Dr.s Office w/my husband and a woman with her 3 yr. old son were walking their 4 pound male Yorkie. I fell in love....that was a Thursday and by Sunday we were going to Logan Airport (Boston) to pick my Artie up! Luckily, it was my Birthday otherwise I would have never gotten away with the temper tantrum to get him so quickly

He weighs 6 pounds and he is 1 year and 3 months, so I beleive that he will not get any heavier or bigger. He is truly an Angel, he gives me no greif and I have no behaviour problems. He is very smart! Easy to train, he learns everything very quick, he is very sweet and affectionate. I've met 3 Yorkies in my Complex, 2 males, 1 female (she was abused, vicious and evil) one of the males is 8 yrs. old and 8 pounds (he still is not house trained or even paper trained) and the other young male is about 10 pounds (his ears don't even stand, he's not trained at all! he doesn't even know his name and he's almost a year old?) Sorry to ramble on....but I speak to everyone about this breed, I do my best to promote it by using mine as an example! I beleive these are the Best fur people ever bred, as long as you make an effort they do the same for you. They say once you get one you want more? Thanks for letting me share that story it brings back good memories. "Happy Easter" to all!
