She sounds like a unique person with some personality issues. To me, it sounds like you did everything you could to remedy the situation. So you lost the keys and they could be replced, not a big deal. Don't take ownership of her personality problems you don't deserve it and you did nothing wrong. If she chooses to tell this story to anyone and tries to justify that she was right, she will like the coo coo that she is.
