I free feed. Ella hasn't developed a weight prob. so i will continue to do so. The dry food is down all day for her to munch and she gets wet food twice a day. I think i switched her from puppy formula to adult food when she was around a year. On the bags on kibble it'll say what ages it is intended for, most of the day. Congrats. on your new puppy.
