However, pet stores are not brokers, they sometimes use brokers to get their animals though. But the pet stores are retail not a broker.
A broker would be if I bought a litter of puppies (or more) from the commercial breeder and then resold the puppies to pet stores. The middle man is the broker. And often, they never actually take possession of the puppies.
More often now days the pet stores are dealing directly with the breeders now for a much better deal.
And of course you must be the one to make the choice of where to buy a puppy, but this I feel you would regret buying from.
