Google BringFido.com for a list of pet friendly hotels. We found the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn through Bringfido for a little trip we are taking out east in a couple days. They allow you to leave your dog in the room alone (inside their crate or not) for periods like going out to dinner, etc.. They charge a $25.00 per day pet charge.
