An antibiotic can irritate their stomachs, especially if it's given for quite awhile. By that I mean if they prescribe it once and the problem isn't taken care of and they prescribe it again. Their little tummies aren't made of steel, but sometimes vets forget that. I don't know if that's causing this problem, though.
