What exactly are probiotics?? My Lexie is just recovering from liver issues - she is doing extremely well and has been on Baytril for about 2 weeks and put her on Hills L/D (she loves the food); now vet says she has colitis (which her stools do indicate), so he started her on 14 days of Metronidazole. I have cut out all treats, but are there "natural" treats that she can have???

if this does not work then when you get back from trips do tylan powder for a week after that is a mild antibiotic but bitter tasting so you may have to have compounded by compounding pharmacy with some chicken flavoring - ask vet about it - it is less of an antibiotic than metronidazole |
