I completely understand. My 16 year old toy poodle passed away 6 years ago and although I felt I "should" wait, after two weeks I got Tatum. She really filled a hole in my heart. You should do what you feel best. Some people feel the need to wait a while but others find that adding to the family again soon helps with the hurt. Congrats! Can't wait to see pictures.
