I have one of each and love them both very much. The only difference I have noticed is that my male is a Momma's boy and my female is a Daddy's girl! Also my male has never marked in my house of anywhere else for that matter. He was neutered at 6mths. I also have a female Shih Tzu and a female Bordercollie cross and they are both Mommy's girls. I don't think it really matters if it's a boy or girl, just on whether it is the right match for you.
