Just talked to the vet I live 8 hrs away from a large city. We have 1 vet and it is 8:00 at night and a holiday to boot here. After reading your replies I called him at home. He said I could give him Hy Perox to induce vomitting to try and get him too bring it back up (which he did not recommend). He said too keep a close eye on him and if he starts getting lethargic or throwing up too bring him in , in the morning. He said there is a possibility that it may just pass. When i said i was concerned about it's size and it not breaking down enough for him too pass he said that the stomach acid could be very strong and could possibly break it down???? Also said it may get stuck and if so then we would look at surgery.
My hands are shaking like mad. Doubt I'll get much sleep tonight. |
