My baby is 7 months old a little on the larger size 8-9lbs and tonight he swallowed a huge stick of plastic.

It was the red stick that comes with cheez and crackers. It is about 2-2 and a half inches long. He swallowed the whole thing!!!!

I'm preying it will just pass on its own but I'm looking at another one and it looks so big.

It must have just slide down his throat staight down because he is showing no signs of discomfort at all. In fact he's his normal frisky self.

Is it likely that this will just pass in his poop? What worries me is that it's plastic so I can't see it breaking down.

Anxiously awaiting words of hope.
