Yes I was asking about disqualification in the show ring. I've seen a lot of talk on the boards about when the YTCA updated the breed standard to disqualify parti colored. I was just wondering if an adult dog could be shown if it was black/tan. At what age do most Yorkies achieve their adult color? I have a second Yorkie who is almost 1 1/2 years old and he already has a lot of silver mixing in with the black.
I think the show world is so interesting. Maybe one day I'll be able to participate but at this stage in life I don't have the extra time or money to be able to. |
