Vet abuse is one of those problems that seems to be talked about in hushed tones. No one wants to believe it happens, after all aren't all vets supposed to love all the animals?.....

As long as pets are considered personal property there is no fear of prosecution and accountability........The Vets boards are just foxes watching the other foxes, most cases will be dismissed..... mine was too, was I surprised?....absolutely not..........  . |
this is so sad and the worst thing i ever read was when a vet tech on my vet group posted a vet punched a dog in the face that would not sit still and the eye came out and he stitched up the eye and told the owner the dog had a seizure and lost its eye. After that i do not let them take mine in the back. The vet tech never reported the vet and the vet took over his fathers practice and hated what he did but went to school and made a ton of money so was not going to give up his career- very sad
