The first time it happened to my Tessa (my cocker) I FREAKED. She only had about 4 problems with it and once I learned how to 'flip' back the eyelid - I didn't have to race to the vet each time but it looks so bad and painful. The vet said it didn't hurt them but you'd never know to look at it.
ps - she never needed surgery - I was able to control it myself in less than 5 seconds - but had it been un fixable she would have had to have surgery - |
Oh my goodness!! I would have freaked too! It looks so painful.
I did a little research on it when Maddie began having her eye problems because I heard so many people ask me if she was born with 'cherry eye'.
