I can hardly believe it! Nine years ago today my husband and I drove from Portland to Rumford, Maine to pick up little Edie. She was one in a litter of two. Edie's sister had already gone to her forever home, and Edie was running around the house shadowing her mother. I fell in love with her and took her home that day! She was 14 weeks old.
Edie is my first pet. She has taught me to love animals and to be more empathetic. I think she has made me a better person.
I LOVE YOU EDIE! And I love being your Mama. I am going to do everything I can do to ensure we have many more years together.
